Analyzer

The capabilities of a logic analyzer differ from oscilloscope capabilities. The most obvious difference between these of the two instruments is the number of channels (inputs). Oscilloscopes have up to four signal inputs, logic analyzers have from 34 to 136 channels, where each channel passes one digital signal.
A logic analyzer measures and analyzes signals in a different way than an oscilloscope. A logic analyzer does not measure the analog signal in detail, but instead determines the threshold levels of the logic signal. When you connect a logic analyzer to a digital circuit, you are only dealing with the logic state of the signal.

Best Spectrum Analyzer – Buyer’s Guide

A spectrum analyzer is a piece of testing equipment that can be used to visualize and measure signal amplitude over a certain frequency range. These signals are then showcased in a frequency VS amplitude graph – the frequency range is shown on the X-axis while the amplitude on the Y-axis. The amplitude is mostly expressed […]

What is a spectrum analyzer?

Analysis of electrical signals, or also known as signal analysis, is quite a challenge for scientists and electronic design engineers. Analyzing signals is quite important since you can gain some valuable insights into their properties. However, a signal analysis will depend on the instrument you use for the analysis. In this case, a spectrum analyzer […]

Debugging an embedded system is a very difficult venture, especially when communication interfaces are involved. The smallest timing offset between signals between receiving a signal. Hence, monitoring these communication signals becomes important to ensure that you are able to see the message content and signal timing when you are developing a new interface or a […]
